Jenn brought her friend, Rachel, with her to her ultrasound appointment. When Rachel saw me, she exclaimed; “You did my ultrasound a few years ago!” 

“When I walked into First Image’s clinic, I felt hopeless—like abortion was my only choice. When I walked out of the clinic, I felt hopeful—like abortion was not my only choice,” Rachel said. “Then I came back for my ultrasound and saw my child’s heart beating…and that did it. Abortion was no longer a choice for me. When Jenn told me she was pregnant and planning to have an abortion, I said, “No not yet—first, you are coming with me to First Image’s clinic,”’ Rachel continued. 

I then introduced Jenn to her squirming baby on the ultrasound screen. “My baby is waving at me,” she smiled as tears filled her eyes. 

Jenn chose life that day!
