Volunteer Process
Step 1: Read the Role Descriptions
Client Support Services Volunteer
The purpose of the Support Service Volunteer will be to advance the mission of First Image in communicating the love of Christ by providing practical help for clients.
Responsibilities may include:
Launder donated baby clothes/items
Organize, sort, and hang donated baby clothes/items
Make newborn baby baskets and older baby baskets
Provide women/families with the completed baby baskets during pick up hours at churches we have partnered with
Time Commitment
Minimum 1-4 hour per week is suggested but each job’s time commitments will vary.
Advocate Volunteer
The purpose of an Advocate Volunteer is to advance the mission of First Image by providing a consistent and excellent experience for women in our centers facing the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy. In order to maintain a safe environment for women coming into our clinics from complex situations and backgrounds, direct patient-care positions are female-only.
Responsibilities:
- Pray with the Advocate and Medical Services Team concerning patients of the day
- Complete all items included on the Advocate Training Checklist
- Advocate for your patients while overseeing the Focus Patient Process
- Facilitate a seamless flow between the Advocate and Medical Services
- Commit to follow the Advocate Script with every patient
Time Commitments
Minimum of one 4 hr shift per week
Events Volunteer
Come help us advance the mission of the First Image by volunteering for events! We need for volunteers throughout the year to help raise awareness and funds for the ministry of First Image.
Sign-up for the events team and you will receive notifications when needs arise for various events including:
Fun Run + Walk: Peer to Peer Fundraising event with a run+walk that takes place in the early summer.
First Image Gala: Annual Fall fundraising dinner with program that includes music and encouraging speakers.
Sanctity of Human Life: Church focused event to raise awareness for the work of our Clinics.
