Advanced Practitioner (MD, NP)
Ava Health is seeking an advanced practitioner who will advance the mission of the organization by providing direct patient care and medical services in collaboration with the nursing staff at our health clinics.
The advanced practitioner is a new position in our clinics and will be an important role in enabling us to serve more of those facing unexpected pregnancy with an expanded set of critical life-affirming pregnancy and women’s health services in greater Portland. This person will help advance our standard of patient care and foster an environment of professionalism and patient hospitality for the people we serve.
Starting at $65/hr, 24 hours/week

Qualifications
- Be licensed as a medical doctor or nurse practitioner in the State of Oregon, in good standing.
- Be certified and/or experienced in the performance of diagnostic obstetrical ultrasounds.
- Be familiar and/or experienced in the provision of prenatal care.
- A thriving relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated in her/his relationships and responsibilities.
- Contagious appetite to learn and grow.
- Support First Image in cultivating a culture of generosity by participating in all First Image fundraising events and actively inviting others to partner in the work of the ministry through volunteering and giving.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology or midwifery is strongly desired.
