Worth Sacrificing For: Come Close to Our Neighbors

Learn More

Events are one the key ways we bring people into the mission of First Image. It’s a time that’s set aside to celebrate what God is doing, enjoy gathering with other like-minded people and invite giving to First Image. We work to equip our supporters with what they need to confidently invite people to events, ask for gifts to First Image and enable others to connect more deeply with how God is at work in this ministry.

We have three core events every year. You can find more info about each of those below. If you are looking for opportunities to raise funds outside of our normal events, check out the fundraise section of our website.

Sanctity of Human Life Season
January-February

Order Materials Learn More Give Life

In January each year, thousands of churches across the nation set aside a Sunday to highlight the sanctity of every human life created in God’s image. It’s an opportunity to remember not-yet-born children, those with disabilities, those that are dehumanized through human trafficking and many others.

At First Image, we want to help you and your church make a meaningful difference in the lives of those that are impacted by sexual brokenness and abortion. That’s why we do a fundraising campaign every year. Click below to give now online.

Some people participate in January and some at other points of the year. Some participate as individuals and some through their church.

Host a Baby Bottle Campaign (bottles provided at no charge) as a way for your church to participate in a tangible and life-giving way. We also provide free bulletin inserts, brochures, videos, and speakers. Contact our Events Coordinator for more info on how to get your church started or click the link below to fill out an order form.

First Image Gala

Become a Table Host Learn about the Gala

Reception 5:15pm // Dinner 6:30pm
Red Lion Hotel on the River – Jantzen Beach
909 N Hayden Island Dr, Portland, OR 97217

Every year we set aside a night to get dressed up and join together in celebration of what God has been doing through First Image. It’s a time to be renewed in our compassion and conviction with other like-minded individuals.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to bring others to hear about the mission of First Image and why we believe it is so vital. We invite you to host a table and invite those in your circle of influence who want to live out their passions to see lives transformed by our work.

There are also many opportunities to sponsor this event through business partnerships. Click here to learn more or get in touch below.

Micro-Events

Many of our most passionate partners are always asking what more they can do. This year we have unveiled an initiative aimed at providing diverse and simple opportunities to bring new people into the mission of First Image.

We call them micro-events, and they are small-scale opportunities to create a transformative experience for those that participate.

These small events are driven by our partners and their passions. Some will gather with other Parents from a local high school to hear more about The Reality Project presentations that their children are hearing. Some will host a day of golf with their business connections or friends and invite us to come share about First Image.

There are a variety of ways that a micro-event could happen. Our goal is simply to create a meaningful experience, to invite a deeper partnership and that 50% of participants would be new to the ministry.
